Photography has been a passion of mine since the very first day I picked up a digital camera. That day was like Christmas morning for me. I remember the first picture that I took was of my mother, whom at the time was by my side when I picked up the camera. Of course, the quality of the picture was mediocre. But at that very moment, I realized what photography was meant for me – to capture special moments in my life.

After capturing thousands of pictures (I think I’m hitting my one millionth picture very soon), I have developed a special bond with photography. I always try to create a story with the pictures that I capture. To me, a picture is only meaningful when it can recreate a moment, a feeling and a story. With every picture that I take, I strive to bring the picture to life – to give the viewer a sense of natural beauty.

And that’s what photography means to me.
